When formulating this mask, I wanted a weekly treatment that could benefit any skin type but specifically target the issues of acne sufferers. Fuller's earth was an ideal clay with its powerful absorption properties but gentle enough for acne skin. It helps balance skin pH while reducing the appearance of acne scars and promoting clearer skin.
The herbs thyme and neem are century-old remedies added to increase the mask's acne-fighting qualities. Neem is naturally astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal. Thyme can deeply cleanse, heal, and soothe inflamed skin.

FULLER'S EARTH CLAY ✧ is a naturally sourced, quarry mind clay that absorbs oils and impurities and provides skin-balancing minerals.
ORGANIC NEEM & THYME ✧ are rich in antioxidants that help reduce acne scars and combat bacteria causing acne.
Scoop out 1 tsp of powder into a small dish. Add a few drops of water at a time to form a smooth paste. Using a makeup brush or fingers, gently smooth the mask onto freshly cleansed skin, making sure to avoid the delicate eye area. Leave the mask on for up to 20 minutes. Gently remove the mask with a washcloth and warm water.
An alternative method would be to add a teaspoon to a small bowl and use a moistening medium of your choice. Yogurt, milk, and honey are fantastic choices!
Follow up with a toner or astringent and a moisturizer.
**Please note the skin may appear red after the mask is removed, this is completely normal and a positive sign that the mask is doing its job by increasing circulation to the surface of the skin, delivering nutrient-rich blood to the cells.
