The Magic
KAOLIN CLAY ✧ is a very fine and light clay it helps stimulate circulation while gently exfoliates and cleans, making this clay suitable for all skin types. Our kaolin clay is quarry mined from naturally occurring deposits and is water washed.
ORGANIC OATMEAL ✧ imparts moisturizing, soothing, conditioning, and nourishing qualities and is well known for its ability to reduce inflammation. Oatmeal contains high levels of saponins that gently cleanse and hydrate.
PEPPERMINT LEAVES ✧ contains skin-loving Vitamins A and C, Potassium, Calcium, Iron, and Magnesium to name a few. It also contains an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent called Rosmarinic acid. But best of all it has menthol, which imparts a cooling and invigorating sensation.
LAVENDER FLOWERS ✧ besides smelling amazing, lavender naturally soothes the nervous system and has amazing anti-inflammatory qualities.
CHAMOMILE FLOWERS ✧ contain many terpenoids and flavonoids know to reduce inflammation and damage caused by UV radiation.
The Ritual
Pour a teaspoon of the Cleansing Grains into the palm of your hand. Drop by drop, slowly add water until you’ve reached an ideal consistency. Less water will yield a more vigorous exfoliation; more water will deliver a gentler cleanse. Gently massage into damp skin using circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
An alternative method would be to add a teaspoon to a small bowl and use a moistening medium of your choice. Yogurt, milk, and honey are fantastic choices!
