Toners are an important step in your daily face routine. The Hibiscus & Green Tea deep hydration facial toner is healing and specially formulated to remove dirt and makeup, improve skin tone, balance pH, and smooth fine lines. Pretty hefty job for such a little bottle, but it is definitely up to the challenge.

The Magic
ORGANIC HIBISCUS FLOWERS ✧ is one of my favorite flowers for skincare. It is an all-around powerhouse and can be found in many of the formulations here at Juniperus Herbals. Hibiscus has a magical reputation for increasing skin elasticity. It has the incredible ability to inhibit the activity of the enzyme elastase, which is responsible for breaking down our skin's precious elastin. It is a natural source of plant acids that gently exfoliate, helping to speed up cell turnover, resulting in a more even skin tone. It is deeply moisturizing, and if that weren't enough, it's a rich source of the antioxidant anthocycanocides, proven to protect against free radical damage caused by pollutants and sun damage.
ORGANIC GREEN TEA ✧ polyphenol molecules are the most powerful antioxidants in the plant kingdom, and this plant is chock-full of them. It is the perfect addition to any natural skincare ritual. It protects the skin from free radical damage, has anti-inflammatory qualities, promotes DNA repair, is antibacterial, and has Vitamin B2 and Vitamin E, both essential for skin health maintenance.
PANTHENOL ✧ is best known for its ability to moisturize by reducing the amount of water lost through the skin. This, in turn, improves skin texture and elasticity for a smoother and more supple complexion.
The Ritual
After cleansing your skin with a gentle, natural cleanser, use a cotton ball or clean cotton cloth to apply the toner to the skin. Follow with your favorite serum and/or moisturizer.
